The members of the North Carolina Association of Independent School’s Commission on Technology are eager to share their thoughts, ideas, and dreams for teaching and learning with you.
The North Carolina Association of Independent Schools also hosts NCAIS Innovate. Born from the annual NCAIS TECH conference of years past, NCAIS Innovate is the conference for independent school educators in North Carolina desiring to spark conversation surrounding teaching and learning in the digital age.

About Jason Ramsden
Beginning a career in independent schools in 1991, Mr. Ramsden brings 18 years of experience to Ravenscroft. For the last 13 years Mr. Ramsden has dedicated his career to improving technology in independent schools both on the instructional and infrastructure levels.
Presently, Mr. Ramsden serves as Chair of NCAIS' Commission on Technology, sits on NAIS' Curriculum & Technology Task Force, is a member of the Consortium of School Networking’s CTO Advisory Council and is a contributor for NCAIS Innovate and edSocialMedia.com. Previously, he has been a SAIS/SACS Visiting Team Member (2008, 2006), had founded NCAIS' Commission on Technology (2008), was a member of NCAIS' Technology Conference Planning Committee (2009, 2008 - Chair, 2007, 2006), and founded the TAIS Technology Directors Association (2005).
Prior to his appointment to Ravenscroft in the Fall of 2006, he served as Technology Manager at The Hill Center in Durham, NC (2003 – 2006), Network Administrator & Technical Support Manager at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, Connecticut (1999 – 2003), Director of Technology at Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, New York (1997-1999), Associate Director of Admissions at Trinity-Pawling School (1994-1997), and Director of Admissions and Public Relations at Xavier High School in New York City (1991 – 1994).
Mr. Ramsden holds a Master of Science in Education, Administration and Supervision from Fordham University and a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola College in Maryland.
